i was intoxicated and sad and it is very short but i quite like this, here it is after i fixed spelling errors:

and god i dont know if i love you or if i lust after you but god do i know that i get drunk so i dont have to deal with thinking about how you’re not that person anymore and god do i know that getting drunk doesn’t work because all i can think about is that you said it once and you lied and god i want you to hurt like i hurt but you have no hurt you have no barrier you have no heart no soul you are you and you are killing all those who try to prove you are nothing you are killing all those who see that you’re just like the rest you are ripping their hearts out they are chipping their teeth on the glasses they clink at the bar and fuck i know im drunk and fuck i know im being overdramatic but fuck i loved you fuck you said it back fuck you for saying it back

wrote this for english class, an acrostic poem using the last sentence from “the great gatsby” which is: “So we beat on, boats against the current, borne back ceaselessly into the past.”, also inspired by the gatbsy/daisy love in the book, which i am very much obsessed with.
